In the 7th episode of Mad Men’s 5th season we could see Don reading a book in bed.

In the picture above, Don’s holding a copy of Bernard Malamud’s 1966 novel, “The Fixer.” The book is about “a man who finds himself a stranger in his community and a victim of irrational prejudice as a wave of anti-Semitic hysteria engulfs a town after the murder of a boy”.

Malamud won that year’s Pulitzer Prize for fiction and The National Book Award.

In The Hunger Games Suzanne Collins didn’t mention any brands. I haven’t seen the movie yet, so I don’t know what the filmmakers did.

However, Mattel was quick to capitalize on The Hunger Games popularity and unveiled Katniss Everdeen Barbie doll. You can get it for $29.95 and is available for pre-order on BarbieCollector.com. It will be released in August 2012, to coincide with the DVD debut of “The Hunger Games.”
